Advice for Potential Adopters

The decision to adopt a greyhound is a big one, but it doesn't have to be scary!

Don't be afraid to ask the team any questions you may have - there is no such thing as a silly question!

You don't need a big garden to adopt. Many of our greys have been successfully rehomed in, and love, apartment living.

The majority of greyhounds are unfortunately not cat friendly. If you have a cat in your family, it may take a little longer to find your perfect kitty-friendly match!

Most importantly, keep an open mind! We often find that the Grey that people mention in their adoption application is not the one they end up going home with.

Advice for Owners Rehoming their Dogs

Thank you for choosing to rehome your dog with us!

The quickest way to place a greyhound on our rehoming list is to complete the Rehoming Form in as much detail as possible.

We no longer offer fast track adoptions - please do NOT chose this option in the form.

Better quality pictures of your dog will result in more interest on our website and social media, which will result in a quicker adoption process! We recommend at least one full length side view, one front view and any pictures that display your greyhound as a good pet, such as playing, laying on the sofa, or being petted. We cannot post pictures of children's faces within the dogs profiles for data protection reasons, so please do not send us these.

Pictures should be clear, in good lighting, and not obstructed by anything - no crates, fences or muzzles please!
